What exactly is NEMT, and who is it for?
NEMT is Non Emergency Medical Transportation. That simply means that transportation services are provided for things like medical visits (doctor, vision, medical procedures), prescription pick up and in some cases grocery stops without providing medical care directly during transport (like an ambulance would).

While we do our best to accommodate same day or last minute rides, we cannot guarantee it. We recommend booking in advance for known appointments.
How far in advance should I book my ride?
We can take appointments as far as a month out. It is better to hold a spot than try to get it last minute. And if your plans change and you need to cancel the ride, you can do so 24 hours in advance with no charge.
Are Demla Transportation services available on weekends and holidays?

Can a family member, caregiver, or service animal ride with me?

We are not limited to NEMT only rides and can offer private pay transportation for other things like family events, etc. Additionally, we are partners with a local charter service and could help facilitate transportation for small groups.
